Game recap:
In a
high-hitting baseall game, Westby eliminates Clintonville with a 12-5
victory Friday. Westby had 14 hits in the game to Clintonville's 12.
Westby took a 4-0 lead in the first inning, but by the bottom of the second inning, Clintonville had come back, leading 5-4.
Clintonville's lead, though, was short-lived. Westby tied the game on a
sacrifice fly by Alex Midtlien in the third inning and reclaimed the lead, 7-5, on a two-RBI single by Nick Neely in the fourth.
Westby added three more runs in the fifth and two in the seventh to put the game out of reach for Clintonville.
Jedd Sebion picked up the complete-game pitching win, striking out three and walking one.
Neely was 3-for-4 with a double and four RBI at the plate.
Westby will play at 5 p.m. or 8 p.m. Saturday.

Clintonville will be the Home team.
Both teams are 1-1 in the tourney. The loser will be eliminated. The winner will play on Saturday at either 5 pm or 8 pm, depending on the results of the other games today.
